The full story
1. Where it began
Bekarys, 26, from Oral. He graduated from L.N. Gumilyov ENU with a degree in Industrial and Civil Engineering.
During his studies he interned at small construction firms and at BI Group, and after graduating he joined Mitsubishi Elevators and Escalators, working on construction projects across several sites.
Despite a successful career, Bekarys knew he wanted to move to an international level, learn modern approaches to construction project management and study at one of the world's leading universities. That is when he started working with Mentor Me.
2. English / IELTS
Preparing for IELTS took two and a half months.
In that time Bekarys worked through the exam systematically and scored IELTS 6.5, meeting the requirements of the universities he had chosen.
3. Preparing the documents
One of the hardest stages was combining work with paperwork. The workload and the constant shortage of time were stressful.
Together with Mentor Me he built a clear admission strategy: every required document and motivation piece was prepared, and a strong candidate profile was put together.
4. Submitting applications
Once the full package was ready, applications went out to universities abroad.
